Project Engineer – Security & Fire Systems | London Region

Location: Ideally based within a commutable distance of London

Are you a technically strong Security Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a solid background in electronic security systems — someone who excels in CCTV and Intruder systems and is confident working independently. If you’re also multi-disciplined and able to support Fire systems, even better!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Installing, commissioning, and maintaining CCTV, Intruder, and (where applicable) Fire systems.

Delivering high-quality project work across customer sites throughout the London region.

Taking ownership of your workload and solving technical challenges independently.

Ensuring all installs meet industry standards and project specifications.

Working closely with project managers and fellow engineers for smooth project delivery.

Providing professional technical support and advice to clients.

Keeping accurate records, documentation, and system information.

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience installing or commissioning CCTV and/or Intruder systems.

Strong technical knowledge of Avigilon, Hikvision, Galaxy, or Texecom systems.

Bonus: experience working with Advanced fire alarm systems.

Ability to work solo, use initiative, and diagnose problems efficiently.

Confident communication and excellent customer-facing skills.

Full UK driving licence.

Preferred (But Not Essential)

Multi-skilled across both Security and Fire disciplines.

• Industry certifications such as ECS, FIA units, or manufacturer training.
