Job Title: Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting & Small Works Technician

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Reading / Slough (M4 Corridor)

Areas Covered: London & South Coast

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting & Small Works Technician to join our growing team. Based ideally along the M4 Corridor, you will carry out maintenance, servicing, commissioning, and small works across customer sites in London and occasionally the South Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, maintain and commission fire alarm & emergency lighting systems.

*

Carry out inspections, testing, fault finding and diagnostics.

*

Complete all works in line with BS 5839, BS 5266, BS 7671 and safety regulations.

*

Work with Gent systems, including advanced commissioning and large network systems.

*

Maintain accurate service records and certification.

*

Deliver excellent customer service across client sites.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience with Gent advanced commissioning and addressable systems.

*

Knowledge of aspirating detection systems.

*

Previous experience working in healthcare environments.

*

Level 3 EAL or FIA qualification in Fire Alarms & Emergency Lighting Systems.

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (occasional overnight stays).

*

Strong technical, communication and problem-solving skills.
