About the Role
A well-established and fast-growing fire safety specialist is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Installation Engineer to join their expanding engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fire alarm engineer seeking long-term stability, varied work across London and the Southeast, and strong earning potential within a supportive and professional business.
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of fire safety systems across a wide range of commercial and residential sites.
Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain fire alarm systems and associated fire safety equipment
  • Attend reactive callouts to diagnose faults and carry out repairs
  • Install and commission new fire alarm systems
  • Complete accurate digital service reports and recommendations
  • Participate in a call-out rota (approximately 1 in 6 weeks)
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with current health & safety standards

About You

Essential:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
  • Strong background in fire alarm servicing, maintenance, and installation
  • Confident completing reports using tablets or mobile devices
  • Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience with emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
  • Knowledge of multiple fire alarm systems
  • Experience in commercial environments
