Financial Planner - Associate Director

The Associate Director appointment is a newly created role supporting both our central London and Sutton offices (a hybrid role, 1‑2 days per week in each location).

What You’ll Do:

  • Bring or develop a presence in the local marketplace and have a plan of how to win new clients.
  • Comply with the Training and Competence Scheme of Forvis Mazars Financial Planning.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing financial planning clients, ensuring that planning opportunities are identified and, where appropriate, pursued.
  • Provide appropriate financial planning advice to Forvis Mazars LLP and externally referred clients.
  • Collaborate on the growth of the Milton Keynes business alongside the Forvis Mazars LLP wider business.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date technical knowledge of personal tax and financial planning and related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma qualified as a minimum, ideally Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Planner.
  • Holds strong financial planning experience.
  • Evidence of ability to generate new work from new client found externally to an existing client book.
  • Ability to proactively manage existing client relationships and to develop new relationships.
