This newly created opportunity represents a fantastic opportunity to join a highly-attractive employer in Wales. As a key strategic partner to the CFO, the Finance Director Strategy and Business Performance will lead on all strategic finance inputs across the Group, including into potential new business and joint venture opportunities.

The role will support the effective management of all operational finance activities, providing strong financial leadership, planning and forecasting discipline and insight that support organisational decision-making.

The role will facilitate to ensure strong financial control, robust forecasting, compliance and commercial support to all business areas.

This key position will lead key strategic projects from a finance perspective and deputise for the CFO when required both internally and externally.

  • Degree level educated or equivalent professional qualification 5-10 years PQE work experience.
  • Strong strategic financial management and commercial leadership skills essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Strong influential skills to create a culture of innovation, teamwork, and excellence.
  • Strong technical accounting skills.
  • Extensive experience of managing and developing teams.
  • Demonstrable experience influencing at senior leadership or Board level.

This role will be based in the offices for 3 days a week with the opportunity to work remotely on remaining days.

The candidate will need to be open to international travel occasionally.
