Financial Controller

We're looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Finance Controller to take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations while supporting the Finance Director across planning, reporting, and investment readiness.
The Finance Controller will:
Own and manage the company's day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accurate records in Xero and overseeing payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations.
Maintain full visibility of the company's cashflow position, producing short- and medium-term forecasts to support informed financial decision-
Prepare month-end management information and reporting packs, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and smooth month-end close processes.
Coordinate payroll with external providers, managing monthly payroll inputs, approvals, and staff expense reimbursements.
Oversee HR and people administration, including contracts, onboarding, personnel records, and compliance with employment policies.
ExperienceRequired :
ExperienceworkingwithinManufacturingorEngineeringorganisations(ESSENTIAL).
ExperienceworkingwithinaStart-uporScale-up environment environment, which includes implementing and building scalable financial controls. (ESSENTIAL).
Strongworkingknowledgeofcoreaccountingprocesses.
Solidunderstandingofpayables,receivables,andcreditcontrol,withtheabilitytomanagethemindependently.
