Adaptable Recruitments are partnering with a well-established business on the outskirts of Chester to recruit an experienced Financial Controller , to lead and manage the financial operations. This is a key strategic role, responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial insights to support senior leadership in making informed decisions and driving business performance. As a newly created position, it offers a unique opportunity to shape and build financial processes as the business continues to grow. Responsibilities: Enhance and optimise current processes and procedures. Manage month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Partner with the FP&A team to prepare, analyse, and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure full compliance with corporate tax requirements, including the accurate and timely submission of all necessary documentation. Monitor the purchase ledger regularly to guarantee supplier payments are accurate and timely, fostering strong relationships with external stakeholders. Assist the Finance Director with funding strategies, reporting obligations, and other key financial initiatives.
