About The Role We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This is a pivotal role that ensures the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, supports executive decision-making, and drives the financial health of the business. Acting as a key business partner, you’ll provide insights that shape our strategy and enable growth. What You’ll Do Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with UK GAAP/IFRS. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings, and regulatory obligations. Manage the audit process and liaise with external auditors.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts. Deliver variance analysis and financial models to support business decisions.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Monitor and manage cash flow to meet financial obligations. Oversee banking relationships and optimise working capital.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
Implement robust internal controls and financial procedures. Drive efficiency through automation and system enhancements.
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Support
Partner with senior leadership to shape financial strategy. Provide insights and scenario analysis for strategic initiatives.
Technology & Systems
Oversee ERP and financial reporting systems. Champion data analytics and dashboards for better decision-making.
What We’re Looking For Essential Experience
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a senior finance role. Audit and compliance expertise with UK GAAP/IFRS. Proven leadership experience managing finance teams. Strong ERP systems knowledge and advanced Excel skills. Travel industry experience is highly desirable.
