Main purpose of the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Financial Controller to join us at our Yorkshire East region, based from our Head office near Doncaster. This is our largest and most successful region who have a robust and secure plan for future developments. The successful candidate will contribute to strong financial control within the region including providing financial management information to support decision making. Key accountabilities will include working with the Regional Financial Director to develop a best-in-class regional finance team, developing a robust, risk balanced and achievable business plan with the regional board. They will prepare a robust and deliverable monthly profit and cash forecast, driving a culture of maximising site profitability within the region, providing challenge on sales prices and costs. Developing best practice procedures and reporting and ensuring adherence to accounting policy and procedures are also key elements of this position. The Regional Financial Controller will also support the central finance team and treasury with all ad hoc requests, collating reporting information as and when required and producing and maintaining other finance specific reports where required.
