We are exclusively partnering the UK division of a global Plc business that due to internal progression is looking to secure an experienced focused, energetic Financial Controller to lead a small team in financial and management reporting.\n\nYou will provide a strong and positive contribution to all areas of business through accurate reporting and identification of areas to improve the efficiency of the companies processes and profitability.\n\nKey responsibilities of the Financial Controller job will include:\n\nYou will ensure effective delivery of financial accounts, statutory reports and efficient ledgers through your established team.\nOverseeing month-end processes\nTaking ownership of the cashflow reporting and forecasting process.\nReport liquidity positions and process intercompany funding and hedging. \nReporting and filing of business taxes, resolving tax issues as they arise.\nWorking closely with all departments ensuring system processes are followed in a profit efficient manner.\nPrepare annual statutory accounts and other ad hoc financial reports.\nManaging the audit process in line with the requirements of the business and form a working relationship with the company's auditors.\nIdentify tax opportunities and risks\nThe ideal Financial Controller will possess the following attributes/skills:\n\nQualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in a similar role\nAnalytically minded\nAbility to influence at all levels and build co-operative relationships\nThe motivation and ambition to drive innovative thinking\nPrevious team management/development experience\nFlexible and adaptable in their approach\nGood understanding of IT systems (SAP is beneficial) and strong Excel knowledge \n\nOn applying you agree to receive finance specific content from our Randstad Finance & Accounting community
