Financial Controller | London | VC backed Software | Salary £65,000 - £70,000 + bonus

I am currently partnering with a high growth SaaS company looking for a Financial Controller to come and support the Head of Finance. I am looking for someone who enjoys working with start-ups/ scale-ups and wants to be a key cog in the companies growth journey.

For this role you will take ownership of the full finance function while leading a small and growing team to support the business. You will need to be hands on and not afraid to get into the detail while working closely with the founders.

Some of your responsibilities will include;

• Actively manage, build and develop effective finance processes and procedure to support the business.
• Communicate key finance requirements, issues and observations to the wider team.
• Oversee VAT, PAYE, Corporation tax and the preparation of the Statutory Accounts in the UK and across the globe.
• Manage the external accounting teams, overseeing crypto accounting, accruals, and all general ledger entries.
• Coaching and development of junior staff.

You will bring;

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 2-5 years in financial management.
• Have worked in a start-up or scale-up environment previously.
• You will be proactive, driven and excited about working in a growth/ fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience working with Xero would be beneficial.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
