This is a senior role with genuine ownership — leading the finance function day to day, maintaining robust financial controls, and working closely with the CFO to support the Board.The business operates in a regulated environment, with a group structure that includes an associated hospitality operation. It’s a role that blends technical accounting, people leadership, and commercial insight, with the flexibility of hybrid working.WISH LISTProven experience leading a finance team in a hands‑on controller roleStrong technical accounting background with confidence owning statutory reportingCalm, structured, and practical — someone who enjoys improving processes and standardsTHE ROLELead and develop the finance team, including direct and indirect reportsOwn the day‑to‑day running of the finance functionMaintain oversight of the general ledger, sales ledger, and purchase ledgerManage the full month‑end process and balance sheet reconciliationsProduce monthly management accounts with clear commentary and variance analysisPrepare annual statutory accounts across the group, including consolidationsLead the year‑end audit process and liaise with external auditorsOversee corporation tax, VAT, CIS, and statutory reporting requirementsManage working capital, cash flow forecasting, and banking covenant reportingLead the annual budget and quarterly reforecast processOwn finance systems, policies, and internal controlsSupport the CFO with Board and Audit Committee reportingYOUR PROFILEGood working knowledge of MS ExcelExperience preparing statutory accounts and managing auditsComfortable working in a regulated or asset‑heavy environmentSALARY & BENEFITSDiscretionary annual bonusHybrid working with strong flexibilityFarnborough locationEnhanced pension, life assurance, and private medical coverAdditional lifestyle, wellbeing, and travel benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
