\nThis vacancy exists purely because the organisation is outperforming the market and scaling rapidly will report to an inspiring, supportive Head of Finance who is passionate about developing talent. The business operates a 5‑day‑in‑office model, but they offer genuine flexibility with the option to start early and finish early (2pm) several days a week. The office is also an easy walk from the station.

\nYour new role.
\nIn this uniquely broad and influential position, you will take full ownership of all accounting operations for a £200m business - from day‑to‑day financial control through to statutory compliance and strategic financial processes will lead the monthly close, elevate the quality of reporting, and set best‑practice standards across the finance function responsibilities include:

• Managing the month‑end, year‑end, statutory reporting and external audit.
\n\t
• Leading the monthly reforecasting process and delivering group reporting submissions.
\n\t
• Owning the annual budgeting cycle.
\n\t
• Producing complete management accounts, including income statements and balance sheet reviews.
\n\t
• Acting as the primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
\n\t
• Leading the annual stocktake.
\n\t
• Deputising for the Head of Finance and helping build a high‑performance finance culture.
\n

\nWhat you'll need to succeed

\n\t
• ACA‑qualified Accountant with strong post‑qualification experience. (Essential)
\n\t
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with current standards.
\n\t
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide others.
\n\t
• The resilience and pace to thrive in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.
\n
