Role - Financial Controller Location - Cheadle Salary - Between £68,000 and £75,000 + benefits Marks Sattin are exclusively recruiting for a rapidly growing and profitable SME energy business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their Cheadle based office on a hybrid model - 3 days in the office 2 from home. The successful candidate will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and display a blend of core accounting and commercial finance skills. The Financial Controller role is a new position and will be a stand-alone role initially before recruiting a finance team as the business continues to grow. The ability to build relationships throughout an organisation is essential and the Financial Controller will need to be 'hands on' and have a background in improving process and reporting. Key Duties
Full production of the monthly management accounts Preparation of the group reporting pack Management of the external audit process and production of statutory accounts Lead on all budgeting and forecasting Cashflow forecasting Look to improve the internal controls and processes within the organisation Build strong relationships internally with the wider group Recruitment and development of a wider finance team Ad-hoc project work
