Financial Controller - London / Hybrid - Full or Part Time (4 days/week) - c£70k pro rataThis is the perfect opportunity for a qualified Finance professional, with relevant real estate industry experience, to join a successful real estate investment firm in London as their Financial Controller.This is a newly created, hands-on role which will include managing the day-to-day financial duties whilst also being involved with general operations of the business.Working closely with the CEO and Fractional CFO, there is a genuine opportunity to personally grow in the role and within the company, as the organisation scales.In a nutshell: We’re looking for a focused, driven, hard-working and commercially astute Financial Controller, with experience gained in the Real Estate or Investment Management sector, who is keen roll their sleeves up and be hands-on in a dynamic, successful and growing business.Key responsibilities as the Financial Controller will include:Managing corporate accounting and group bookkeepingOverseeing financial reporting internally and externallySupporting the development of financial processes and proceduresEnsuring full regulatory compliance including AML, KYC and fund governance obligations as requiredAssisting with mortgage refinancingManaging marketing materials, investor communications and product structuring to ensure they are legally compliant (working with legal advisors)Identifying operational and financial risks and implementing mitigation plansSupporting due diligence on acquisitions, lending and investment pipelines if requiredProviding management with detailed reports and financial informationLiaising with external accountants and third-party vendorsGeneral assistance with business operationsAnd more.Experience, skills and attributes required:Qualified Financial Controller (ACCA, ACA or similar)Relevant industry experienceSolid all-round accountancy and bookkeeping experienceExperience in cashflow management, budgeting and forecastingExperience with mortgage refinancingStrong tax accounting experienceSolid regulatory compliance knowledge and experienceHappy to be in a hands-on role and be involved in the operational side of the businessTech savvy with keen interest in financial systems, implementation and automationAbility to build and/or improve finance functions, processes and controls to support scalability in a rapid-growth environmentStrategic mindset with strong business acumen and commercial awarenessImpeccable attention to detail and accuracyAmbitious, driven and focused with an entrepreneurial edgeExcellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong business relationships at all levelsInterested in this Full or Part Time Financial Controller role?If this role is of interest to you and you have the skills and experience we’re looking for, please ensure your CV showcases your capabilities and outline your preference for full or part time working and submit it ASAP, quoting ‘AE - Financial Controller - Real Estate Investment’ #J-18808-Ljbffr
