Commercial Finance Assistant

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Finance Assistant to support a fast-paced finance function within a growing business. This role is ideal for someone who is part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / AAT) and keen to develop both their technical and commercial skillset.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Support budgeting processes and ongoing financial planning activities
• Work closely with colleagues across different departments to gather and interpret financial information
• Contribute to improving reporting processes and identifying efficiencies
• Provide timely and accurate financial data to support decision-making
• Assist with reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger activities

About You

• Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or AAT
• Strong analytical mindset with good attention to detail
• Proactive and driven, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks
• Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships
• Comfortable working with data and translating numbers into meaningful insight
• Eager to learn and develop within a commercial finance environment
