Interim Financial Accountant

Location: Grangemouth

Contract: 6-month interim (potential for permanent conversion)

Salary: £48,000 – £50,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week, flexible start times (7:30–9:30am)

Hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1-day Work from Home

iMultiply is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Interim Financial Accountant to join a dynamic and collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving. You will play a key role in managing financial processes with a focus on Capex and overhead costs, supporting monthly cost meetings with senior leadership, and ensuring accurate reconciliations. This role requires someone confident in handling conflicting priorities and working with strong personalities at senior levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Capex and overhead cost reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly cost reports to senior leadership.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, liaising with offshore teams.
• Support an internal audit cycle, including quarterly external and annual internal audits.
• Handle pass-through costs to customers and stock management components.
• Manage ad hoc tasks and inbox priorities.

Skills required

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
• Assertive communicator with confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solver who sees tasks through to completion.
• Experience with audits and reconciliations.
• SAP experience desirable but not essential.
