Financial Accountant (Possible temp to perm)
Exeter / Hybrid
£40,000 £45,000 (DOE)
Initially 3 months, with potential to go permanent
We are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a well-established organisation initially for three months but with the possibility of going permanent, to support the finance team during a busy period and beyond.
This is a hybrid role , ideally based in or around Exeter , although candidates living slightly further afield may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the month-end close process
Preparing and posting journals
Delivering financial analysis and reporting
Supporting the Financial Controller with day-to-day accounting activity
Providing audit support
Managing client funds and completing detailed reconciliations
About You:
Proven experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
Technology/software industry experience would be very beneficial
Strong attention to detail and confidence working with reconciliations
Comfortable working at pace and supporting senior finance stakeholders
Available to start at short notice or within the next few weeks
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on financial accountant looking for a quick start, exposure to a broad remit, and the opportunity to potentially move into a permanent role.
