An established, FTSE-listed organisation with a significant UK asset base is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant on a 6-month FTC. This is a hands-on role supporting core financial reporting cycles and governance across a multi-entity group structure. You will play an important part in ensuring reporting accuracy, strong controls, and high-quality financial insight, while working closely with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business.

As a Financial Accountant, you will be:

• Supporting half-yearly and quarterly reporting processes.
• Owning the balance sheet and cash reconciliations, analytical reviews, and ledger close activity.
• Preparing management information, forecasts, and financial analysis for senior review.
• Contributing to board-level reporting materials, working with teams such as Tax and Treasury.
• Preparing and co-ordinating statutory accounts and audit deliverables.
• Providing ad hoc support on transactions, covenants, and structural updates.

Requirements:

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA/equivalent preferred).
• Background in practice, preferably from a top 10 accounting firm.
• Experience working with clients in the property/real estate industry is highly beneficial.
• Experience working with IFRS 15 and 16.
