Role: Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary, Financial Accountant to assist them for 3 months. You will be responsible for following duties: Deliver monthly and quarterly group consolidations across four entities in Planful, including data validation, consolidation adjustments, and production of management reports. Prepare and process intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, resolving discrepancies with local entity finance teams. Draft and maintain group and subsidiary financial statements in Caseware, ensuring compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and internal policies. Compile and review debt covenant calculations for two lending arrangements, monitoring compliance and preparing supporting schedules. Manage month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary. Support and coordinate year-end close and external audit, preparing working papers, answering auditor queries and completing group reporting deliverable. Maintain detailed process documentation and internal control notes, identifying opportunities to streamline and strengthen reporting processes.
