Qualified Accountant - 3 Month Contract (option to go permenant)Ayrshire 55,000-65,000 Hybrid Considered A prominent organisation based in Ayrshire is seeking a skilled and motivated Qualified Accountant to join their finance team on a minimum 3 month contract whilst they recruit for the permenant vacancy in the background (candidates can be considered for this). This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a varied, hands on role where you'll provide essential support across the finance function. Working in a dynamic and fast paced environment, you'll play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial reporting while contributing to key operational processes. As the interim Qualified Accountant, you will take ownership of end to end accounting responsibilities, ensuring the smooth running of core financial activities. Managing the ledger and overseeing month end processes Preparing statutory reports and supporting regulatory requirements Assisting with wider financial tasks to ensure deadlines and standards are met Providing accurate financial insight to support decision making This is a role where you'll be able to immediately add value and support a committed finance team during a busy period. Full professional accountancy qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA) Strong, demonstrable experience in end to end accounting Proven capability in ledger management, month end cycles, and statutory reporting Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively across the finance function A competitive salary up to 65,000 (with an ideal range of 55,000-60,000) 30 days annual leave (pro rata) Predominantly office based working (5 days), with flexibility for a hybrid split of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home A supportive working environment featuring a Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm schedule and a 12pm Friday finish This contract offers a chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying an excellent work life balance.
