Financial Accountant (French Speaking)Annual Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum plus benefitsLocation: London (with frequent travel to France required)Job Type: Full-time, PermanentReed Finance is partnering with a leading hospitality firm who are seeking a fully qualified Financial Accountant who is fluent in French to join their dynamic team.This role is crucial for managing our accounting operations across the UK and France, ensuring excellence in their financial processes and supporting their rapid growth within the food technology industry.To be suitable for this role you must be a fluent in French and be a fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent Accountant.Day-to-day of the role:Produce monthly management accounts for the Group and subsidiaries.Handle the Annual French Statutory Accounts and Audits, coordinating with outsourced accounting firms and auditors.Manage Monthly French VAT reporting and liaise with HR on French payroll and benefits.Maintain robust financial controls and oversee the financial systems infrastructure, ensuring continuous improvement and suitability for a fast-growth business.Manage day-to-day financial operations, including negotiating payment terms with suppliers, improving invoicing software, and providing financial support to thepartners.Process Sales Invoicing and manage Payment processes with their partners.Oversee Supply Chain Accounts Receivable procedures and support improvements in the Purchase to Pay (P2P) cycle.Manage weekly cash flow reporting and engage in Treasury & Working Capital management.Handle French invoicing to creators and meal vouchers processing.Required Skills & Qualifications:Must be a fully qualified Accountant with at least 1-2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a management or financial accountant role.Fluent in French and English to communicate effectively with teams in both the UK and France.Strong experience with modern ERP cloud-based systems, NetSuite experience strongly preferred.Proven background in a fast-paced scale-up environment with a strong accountancy technical knowledge.Excellent process-improvement mindset and experience in driving improvements in financial control environments.Ability to operate efficiently in month-end close cycles and work collaboratively across teams.Willingness to travel frequently to Paris.Benefits:Competitive salary and growth opportunities in a leading food tech scale up.Hybrid working model facilitating a balance between professional and private life.Exposure to an international team of foodtech experts and a chance to work in a values-driven organisation.Opportunities for personal and professional growth in a supportive and collaborative environment.To apply for this Financial Accountant position, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your qualifications, experience, and why you are interested in working with us.JBRP1_UKTJ
