Financial Planning and Analysis Manager Based in Leatherhead, please check commute before applying Role Summary: We are looking for a qualified accountant with FP&A experience and fluent in Korean and English to join our finance team. This role will focus on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for our UK operations, providing actionable insights to support business decisions. We want you to:
Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models for HMUK operations. Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, including management reports and KPIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights into business planning and decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS) and internal financial policies. Assist in ad hoc financial projects, including scenario analysis, business cases, and investment appraisals. Act as a liaison between CFO and Finance Director to facilitate accurate financial communication and reporting. Manage and mentor a small FP&A team, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and analysis. Proactively drive cost saving initiatives. Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy. Support corporate projects such as SAP HANA rollout, K-SOX. Improve SAP systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions to automate the reporting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability. Liaise with accounting team regarding accruals and journal entries. Liaise with external auditors on a regular basis to ensure timely reporting and accounting compliance.
About you:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). FP&A experience within a multinational organisation preferred (3‑5+ years). Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written). Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP/finance system (SAP) is advantageous. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non‑finance stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑cultural environment. Proficiency in SAP preferred but not required and MS Office.
