Finance & Payroll ManagerNottinghamHybrid | Part-Time (30 hours)£45,000 £55,000 Full time equivalentEaton Syalon are partnering with a growing, multi-entity organisation to appoint a Finance & Payroll Manager into a pivotal role within its finance function.This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys owning processes end-to-end, strengthening controls, and leading payroll and finance operations with confidence and precision.If you thrive in environments where structure, process and continuous improvement really matter, this could be an excellent next step.The RoleReporting into the Head of Finance, you will:Oversee day-to-day finance operations including sales ledger, purchase ledger, reconciliations, accruals and prepaymentsTake full ownership of payroll governance and quality assurance processesManage and challenge the external payroll partner to ensure accuracy and accountabilityStrengthen internal controls and reduce financial riskSupport the production of management accounts and budgetsContribute to automation and digital improvements across the finance functionLead, develop and support a Finance AssistantThis is a role for someone who enjoys both the detail and the oversight balancing hands-on involvement with leadership responsibility.Your ExperienceWere open to candidates from a range of sectors including SME, not-for-profit, professional services, education, healthcare or multi-entity environments.Youll need to bring:Experience managing finance processes end-to-end within a small to mid-sized settingStrong payroll oversight and pensions compliance experienceConfidence improving quality assurance checks and financial controlsExperience managing or working closely with outsourced payroll providersStrong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks or similarA proactive mindset someone who improves processes rather than simply maintaining themAAT qualified, part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience would all be considered.JBRP1_UKTJ
