Finance Manager | Chester | Temp to Perm | Up to £70,000

A growing, fast-paced business is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Finance Manager to take ownership of group-level reporting and lead a small finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes and working across multiple entities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly group management accounts, including analysis and reconciliations
Oversee transactional finance teams and ensure compliance with controls
Manage cash flow forecasting, VAT returns, and payroll reconciliations
Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit preparation
Drive process improvements and efficiencies across the finance function
Lead and develop a small team, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

About You

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Strong technical knowledge and experience in a similar role
Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
Ability to lead, influence, and build relationships across the business
