Due to continued success, a business services company in Cardiff have created a new role and are recruiting for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Working closely with the CEO and forming part of the senior management team, this is a crucial appointment to ensure financial reporting to internal colleagues and external partners is accurate and timely, help inform commercial decisions and oversee the work of a small finance team. Applicants will be comfortable to manage upwards, challenge existing processes and embed new ways of working across the business. Finance Manager duties Lead and oversee the groups accounting and finance function. Produce monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and present results to the Board. Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term projections. Line manage and develop two direct reports, including work review and ongoing coaching. Support investment and capital decisions and manage relationships with external lenders, ensuring compliance with existing covenants. Developing strong relationships with Private Equity Investors, funders and banking providers. Liaise with external accountants and auditors on statutory reporting and group tax filings.
