Finance Manager (Standalone Role) Location: Nottinghamshire (Hybrid Working) Salary: £42,000 – £52,000 + benefits
A growing construction business is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to take full responsibility for its finance function. This is a standalone role offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to play a key part in supporting the continued growth of the business.
This position would suit an experienced and proactive finance professional who enjoys operating in a broad, all-encompassing role within an SME environment.
The Role The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and meaningful insight to support decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities include:

Production of monthly management accounts and associated reporting

Preparation of quarterly forecasts, cash flow projections, and P&L reviews

Full ownership of month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and journals

Management of accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and payments

Bank and general ledger reconciliations
