Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Warrington (Hybrid) Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced European finance team within a leading global consultancy specialising in complex advisory services for both public and private sector clients. This role sits at the heart of the European operation and reports directly to the Regional Financial Controller (EMEA). It's an excellent fit for a commercially minded finance professional seeking broader exposure in an international business - or for someone looking to make their first move out of audit into industry. Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
You'll join a high-performing, collaborative finance function with strong leadership support and a genuine commitment to developing talent. The business offers career progression, exposure to strategic projects, and the chance to work in a high-growth, global environment. Culture-wise, expect mentorship, autonomy, and recognition for driving performance and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the month-end close process and ensure accurate, timely delivery of financial reporting for European entities. Manage the full P&L review, including overheads and balance sheet reconciliations. Oversee cash flow forecasting, working closely with the Group Treasury team. Supervise all transactional finance functions including accounts payable, credit control, and payroll. Line-manage a small team of Management Accountants and AP staff, providing coaching and development support. Take ownership of statutory accounts preparation and coordinate external audits. Support on ad-hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
ACA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent). Strong audit grounding - ideal for candidates moving out of practice. Experience managing and developing finance teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. High attention to detail with excellent analytical and organisational skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience in a professional services environment is advantageous but not essential.
