Are you a qualified finance professional looking for a role where you can make a real difference?
We’re recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing, purpose-led organisation based in Cambridge.
As Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of the month-end process, management accounts, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting, while supporting wider business operations and leading a junior finance team member.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager
Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations Lead month-end journals and reporting processes Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting Oversee intercompany invoicing and reconciliations Support annual budgets, long-term financial planning, and audits Review payroll reports, pension submissions, and financial allocations Track project income and expenditure across grants and contracts Support senior leadership with board reporting and financial analysis Line manage and develop an Accounts Assistant
About You
We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, commercially minded, and ready to take ownership.
You’ll ideally have:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (AAT Level 4 considered with strong experience) At least 3 years’ post-qualified experience Strong management accounts and month-end experience Budgeting and cash flow forecasting knowledge Excellent organisational and analytical skills Leadership or mentoring experience A proactive, solutions-focused approach
