Finance Manager Location: Cardiff Salary: Up to £45,000 Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (4:30pm finish on Fridays) Flexibility: Part-time considered (2–3 days per week) Hybrid Working: 2–3 days per week from home This is a key Finance Manager role with real influence and clear progression. You will take ownership of the finance function, providing accurate reporting, strong financial control, and commercial insight to support strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with the Leadership Team, you’ll help shape the future of the organisation while developing your own career into a more senior finance leadership position. Main Duties Financial Planning & Performance
Own the budgeting and forecasting process
Deliver accurate reconciliations, balance sheets, and performance analysis
Track results against budget and provide clear commercial insight
Partner with Project Directors and the Leadership Team on financial decisions
Accounting, Invoicing & Reporting
Run day-to-day finance operations, including ledgers, payables/receivables, and payroll coordination
Prepare fee applications, invoices, and supporting documentation
Control procurement and business expenditure
Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior stakeholders
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial data
