Prospectus is pleased to be supporting an impactful children and family wellbeing charity to recruit for a Finance Manager. This is a permanent role, ideally with a start date of the end of September. This role is to be based one or two days per week from their West Oxfordshire office, with the remainder remote working.

Managing a small team of 2 x Finance Officers, the purpose of this role is to lead on the day to day financial activities of the Charity. This includes managing regular financial reporting, VAT returns and payroll management, and developing improvements to financial and operational processes to increase efficiency within the team and provide accurate, timely and useful financial reporting to Lead Managers. You will also be responsible for mentoring, coaching and developing the team.

The successful candidate will have prior experience managing a finance function with a good understanding of most aspects of finance in order to lead the day to day operations, ideally from within the not for profit space. You will also have some experience and confidence in managing and nurturing a small team.
