We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day finance operations. \n\nThis hands-on role oversees everything from invoicing and balance sheet reconciliations to budgeting, cashflow forecasting and preparation of management accounts.\n\nYou will be a key financial partner to senior leadership, providing accurate and timely insight to support strategic decision-making.

Working closely with an external Finance NED (2 days per month), you’ll also ensure robust financial controls are in place and support continued business growth.\n\nThis role will suit someone detail-driven, confident, and commercially focused — someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves while also thinking strategically.\n\nWhat will the Finance Manager role involve?\n\nOversee daily finance operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations\nProduce monthly management accounts and regular cashflow forecasts\nLead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles\nManage VAT submissions, tax compliance and financial governance\nReview and support the drafting of commercial agreements with clients and suppliers\nPartner with senior teams to support commercial decisions and performance\nSuitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:\n\nQualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience\nProven experience in finance management, ideally within a creative or professional services\nStrong systems knowledge (Xero preferred) and confident Excel user\nAnalytical, commercially minded and comfortable presenting insight to senior leaders\nHighly organised with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach\nAdditional benefits and information for the role of Finance Manager: \n\nFull ownership of the finance function with strategic influence\nOpportunity to shape financial systems, reporting and processes for growth\nHybrid working model – 4 days in-office, 1 remote\nCompetitive salary £45,000–£50,000 (dependent on experience)\nSupportive, creative and ambitious working environment\nIf you're ready to drive financial excellence and play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of a dynamic communications agency, we’d love to hear from you\n\nCMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
