Known for its relationship-led approach and delivery on complex, high-value deals, the firm offers a collaborative, partnership-driven environment where individuals are genuinely empowered to make an impact.

As the business continues to scale and evolve, they are looking to appoint a Finance Manager into a pivotal, high-visibility role. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this position offers a rare blend of core financial management, operational oversight, and involvement in strategic initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership, drive change, and play a key role in the firm’s next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Owning the month-end close process, including preparation of journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Producing monthly management accounts and delivering insightful reporting packs for senior stakeholders and partners.
  • Coordinating the annual audit process and acting as the primary contact for external auditors.
  • Managing VAT returns, corporation tax reporting and statutory filings, liaising with external tax advisers where required.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and broader financial planning processes.
  • Contributing to strategic and ad hoc projects, including international expansion and regulatory initiatives.
  • Acting as the primary contact for external IT providers and supporting firmwide technology initiatives, including system implementations and AI adoption.
  • Driving utilisation and optimisation of CRM systems and other operational tools.

The candidate:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent), ideally trained within practice.
  • Strong technical expertise across financial reporting and audit.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to operate effectively across finance, operations and technology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
  • Intellectually curious, with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable engaging with systems, automation and emerging technologies to drive efficiency and improvement.
