Role:Finance Manager – Scaling AI Business Salary:£70–90k + Benefits Location: London (Hybrid) A rapidly scaling, venture-backed AI business is looking to hire a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in the next phase of growth. Operating at the cutting edge of artificial intelligence, the business has strong commercial traction and a highly capable finance function already in place. This role reports directly into a commercially focused, number-one-in-finance and will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of finance, while managing and developing a small, high-performing team of two. Candidate profile:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent) Experience within a high-growth tech, AI, or SaaS environment Strong grounding across financial accounting, reporting, and controls Comfortable managing and developing a small finance team Confident operating with autonomy in a scaling business Commercially aware and able to partner with senior stakeholders Enjoys broad, hands‑on responsibility rather than a narrow remit

Primary duties include:

Owning the core finance function, covering financial accounting, reporting, and controls Managing and mentoring a team of two, ensuring high standards and continuous development Leading month‑end close and production of accurate, timely management information Maintaining balance sheet integrity through robust reconciliations and reviews Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and commercial decision‑making Working closely with the Head of Finance / CFO on strategic and commercial initiatives Ensuring strong financial controls and scalable processes are in place Preparing for and supporting audits and external advisor relationships Overseeing revenue recognition and cost control in a fast‑moving AI environment Supporting system improvements, automation, and process optimisation Acting as a key finance partner to non‑finance teams across the business Contributing to longer‑term planning around scale, governance, and future fundraising
