Are you a seasoned finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, bringing expertise in payroll, risk management, and management accounting.
About the role:
As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations supporting the Finance Director, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
You will also be supporting the development of our finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of payroll processing and compliance.
Lead risk management initiatives, identifying and mitigating financial risks.
Prepare/review and analyse management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
Challenge costs against budgets and forecasts, being the steward of cash.
Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic financial planning.
Develop and mentor finance team members, promoting professional growth.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Regularly review, maintain and improve department standards and processes.
About You:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role, ideally within manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems and risk management frameworks.
Excellent analytical, excel, communication, and leadership skills.
Passionate about team development and process improvement.
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
