Finance Business Partner – Bede Gaming In this role you’ll work closely with internal budget holders and senior stakeholders across the Group, partnering on all aspects of financial performance. You’ll analyse performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support strong commercial decision‑making. You’ll also be heavily involved in the annual budgeting cycle and in‑year re‑forecasting, helping the business plan effectively and stay on track throughout the year. This hybrid role requires you to be in our Newcastle upon Tyne office three days a week. Please apply only if you’re comfortable with this arrangement. What You’ll Be Doing
Building and maintaining financial models, budgets and rolling forecasts to support accurate planning and reporting. Supporting the annual budgeting process, working closely with execs and department heads to align financial plans with business priorities. Partnering with senior stakeholders to drive sustainable cost efficiencies while supporting smart investment decisions. Producing forecast and budget variance analysis, and developing meaningful KPIs across areas such as resource utilisation and profitability. Developing internal dashboards and reporting that genuinely inform and influence decision making. Improving the clarity, consistency and impact of financial reporting across the business. Maintaining a risks and opportunities tracker to support forward‑looking decisions. Working closely with the wider Finance team to continuously improve processes and ways of working. Building strong working relationships with senior leaders and their teams. Producing insight and reporting for Exec.tile and senior leaders to support both short‑term decisions and longer‑term strategy. Linking financial performance and KPIs to wider business objectives across Bede’s operations. Working cross‑functionally to define and evolve performance metrics and measures. Supporting business cases by assessing return on investment and tracking outcomes. Monitoring and reporting on ROI across technology and customer projects. Supporting new business proposals through financial modelling and scenario analysis. Assisting with financial due diligence for prospective new clients. Evaluating potential investment opportunities and providing analysis to support decision making. Providing financial input on pricing, client rate cards and cost proposals. Supporting procurement activity by providing financial due diligence on suppliers and helping achieve the best commercial outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Strong spreadsheet and financial modelling skills. Experience verke using SAP is desirable. Comfortable applying analytical thinking beyond traditional finance into broader commercial problem‑solving. Able to thrive in a fast‑moving environment and confident proposing and driving change. A creative, curious mindset with a continuous improvement approach. Strong stakeholder and communication skills, including:
