This position sits within a Finance Planning Team that leads on budget setting, monitoring, and financial guidance for key service areas. It’s a collaborative and advisory role where you’ll work closely with Service Managers and Senior Leaders , helping ensure their services are financially sound, well-planned, and aligned with long-term objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead on budget setting , forecasting, monitoring, and financial outturns

Provide strategic financial advice and support to senior stakeholders

Monitor staffing costs and identify opportunities for cost management

Meet regularly with allocated service areas (minimum once per month)

Contribute to the Council’s Medium-Term Financial Strategy (...
