The Opportunity The York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner. The Finance Business Partner will play a leading role at the interface of finance and delivery teams, enabling and supporting shared financial objectives, information and insights between the teams and wider stakeholders promoting a collaborative and supportive approach to assessment, reporting and analysis. What you will bring

A relevant degree A recognised (CCAB or equivalent) accounting qualification Strong experience of Finance Business Partnering A collaborative and empathetic approach to supporting service users Familiarity with financial regulations and governance frameworks applicable to local government. Experience working in a combined authority or similar public sector organisation. Wider stakeholder management skills A track record of delivering continuous improvements in processes , systems and reporting
