What You’ll Be Doing

Partner with Customer & Commercial team leaders to deliver financial insight and strategic guidance Develop budgets and targets for key metrics, analyse performance, and communicate insights clearly Provide variance analysis and trending techniques to measure success against budgets, forecasts, and business cases Support the Customer & Commercial Weekly Trading call and Monthly Business Review with timely, data-driven analysis Evaluate commercial projects and initiatives, offering financial recommendations that unlock value and maximise ROI Identify and develop reports, dashboards, and models to support decision-making Translate business questions into structured analysis and present findings in a clear, actionable way Provide general support to the Head of Finance – Stores & Commercial

Key areas of responsibility

Gross Margin and Unit Economics forecasting and analysis Customer Acquisition lead indicators and ROI Consumer Finance reporting and analysis Supporting Stock Management and Clearance activities Input to Sourcing Working Group on Supplier Income and Trading Terms

Who We’re Looking For

A professional finance qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) Excellent Excel skills for creating spreadsheets, manipulating data, and presenting insights Proficiency in PowerPoint and confidence presenting to non-financial stakeholders Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain the "so what" behind the numbers Meticulous attention to detail and experience working to tight deadlines Previous experience in retail is an advantage Experience using Tableau or other data visualisation tools is a bonus
