Finance Assistant Vacancy - Middleton, Manchester - £26,500 plus profit share and BUPA

This is a full time, office based role

JW Lees have an exciting opportunity to join the Finance Team as a Finance Assistant, based from our Greengate Brewery in Middleton, Manchester.

Finance Assistant responsibilities:

Bank Reconciliation
BS Reconciliations including but not limited to
MH Floats
Bank Accounts (including Euro account)
Deposits
Sales Unpaid
Money Undeclared
Fruit Machine Refills
Checking and applying the correct coding and VAT treatment to Managed House expenses
Processing ad hoc bank payments
Refund tracker
Support with processing of purchase invoices
Raising weekly purchase orders for all Retail Operator sites
Posting Managed House Paperwork
Attending Area meetings
Inductions and support with site managers, including

Required skills/qualifications:

Excellent communication, both oral and written
Intermediate excel skills
Studying AAT or the desire to do so
Relevant experience in an accounting environment
Professional but personable approach
Be able to work within a high-pressure environment
Be able to devise solutions to issues as they arise
Ability to think outside the box
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Always demonstrate a can-do attitude
Being driven and positive
Ability to multi-task
High level of organisation
High level of motivation
Ability to pay attention to detail and to work methodically and accurately
