Office Angels are looking for a switched-on Finance Assistant to join an established Multi-Academy Trust of primary and secondary academies across the West Midlands. This is a great opportunity to work within a successful company within a small and friendly team supporting four small primary schools with their finances. HOURS: 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday(some flexibility can be offered on start time), 8am - 3.30pm Friday

START: ASAP - Willing to wait notice

SALARY: £29093 (£15.13 hourly rate)

CONTRACT: Temporary to Fixed Term Contract

LOCATION: Smethwick

Main Duties:

Trips reconciliation
Reconciling supplier statements / expenses
E-mailing orders to suppliers
Payment of Invoices
Sending out bacs remittances
Dealing with payment queries
Processing of expenses
Credit card transactions coding and reconciliation
Checking finance e-mail account daily and clearing
Assisting the Finance Officer with the preparation of both month and year end files
Chasing of debtor invoicing debt

Requirements:

Experience with Account payable and receivable
High attention to detail
Strong IT skills, experience MS Office packages including Excel
Experience on Sage
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent organisation
Able to prioritise tasks, meeting tight deadlines
