Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of finance within the Logistics sector? Our client is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join their team in Gateshead on a temporary basis. If you have finance/accounts experience and a solid grasp of Excel, we want to hear from you!

Position: Finance Assistant (Purchase Ledger) Location: Gateshead Contract Type: Temporary Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Purchase Ledger Processing & Reconciliation: Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely processing of purchase invoices. Purchase Order Processing: Support the procurement process by managing purchase orders efficiently. Sales Invoice Processing & Reconciliation: Maintain precise records of sales invoices and ensure they align with accounts. Credit Card & Bank Posting & Reconciliation: Handle credit card transactions and bank reconciliations with meticulous attention to detail. Accounts Inbox Monitoring: Manage the accounts inbox and provide prompt responses to queries. ️ Other Finance Admin Tasks: Assist with various administrative tasks within the finance department as required.

Essential Requirements

A background in finance/accounts is essential. Proficiency in Excel is a must, your skills will be put to good use! Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. A proactive approach to problem solving and a team oriented mindset.Perks of the Role:
