This growing chemical company based in Suffolk is seeking a proactive Interim Finance Analyst to join its finance function. The role will focus on commercial finance reporting, analysis, and forecasting across all business units, providing key insights to support decision-making and performance improvement.This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified finance professional to develop their commercial acumen in a dynamic, growing business.OverviewThe Interim Finance Analyst will lead on commercial finance reporting, analysis, and forecasting for all commercial business units. You will work across all finance activities, supporting both operational and strategic decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting & AnalysisAct as a business partner to all departments, providing financial insight to challenge and improve performanceSupport the weekly trading meeting by producing KPI reports for all business unitsReview business unit P&Ls each month end, liaising closely with departmentsProduce and develop the management reporting pack for month-end, including commentary and supplementary analysisSupport the annual budgeting process, including planning, timelines, and presentation packsProvide inputs and analysis for the business plan and asset owner queriesAssist with financial evaluation of new business initiativesFinancial Controls & GovernanceWork with the Financial Controller to maintain all controls outlined in the financial control frameworkSupport the maintenance of finance policies and proceduresComplete accounting reconciliations to support financial statement reviewsAssist with the external audit programCollaborate with the Systems Accountant to maintain integrity of financial dataOther ResponsibilitiesProvide support to other members of the finance team as requiredHandle ad hoc financial requests as they ariseAbout YouACCA / CIMA / ACA part- or fully-qualifiedMinimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar finance roleProven experience in business partneringSolid understanding of month-end close and reporting processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsJBRP1_UKTJ
