Role Purpose
Part of a key team which supports buyers in the calculation and invoicing of supplier income across the business, developing strong and effective cross‑functional working relationships and driving process improvements to enable the business to deliver company targets and profitability. This role reports to the Finance Manager, Trading (Margin Support).
A Typical Day In This Role Includes
Co‑ordinate the periodic promotional support process, working closely with the Commercial team to ensure all submissions are submitted accurately and on time.
Support the Finance Manager in identifying gaps and inefficiencies where income may not be being claimed and implementing tools, reports, analysis and process improvements accordingly.
Manage a supplier income portfolio, facilitating the timely throughput of generating invoices to suppliers, building a working relationship with the relevant Commercial teams to do so.
Support the Financial Control team in the management of aged debt so disputes are resolved quickly, primarily in managing credit note reviews.
Own Income balance sheets ensuring effective controls are in place.
Work alongside the Finance Manager in building the income and margin support targets for the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
Help develop and deliver role specific training and guidelines to the business around income and promotional processes.

What You’ll Need
Part qualified accountancy qualification or intention to study.
Strong Excel skills and ability to master technical skills quickly.
A passion for driving change and process improvement.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for Finance.
Commercial awareness.
