Job Description Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Field Service Engineer for our client based in the Central Belt of Scotland. \n\n This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider in the wellness industry in a mobile role, covering commercial contracts across the Central Belt. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of systems related to swimming pools and thermal suites, ensuring they operate efficiently and to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will be based in Glasgow, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, or Stirling and have a strong background in mechanical pump and motor repairs, with additional electrical qualifications being highly desirable. \n\n Install and commission equipment for swimming pools, including pumps, heaters, filtration systems, chemical dosing equipment, and control panels. \n Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of plant systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

\n Diagnose and resolve mechanical or system faults, providing effective repair solutions. \n Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates, advice, and maintenance support. \n Keep accurate service records, noting all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.

\n Deliver technical support and guidance to clients on system operation and upkeep. \n Respond promptly to emergency service calls, addressing urgent issues with swimming pools, spas, and thermal suites. \n\n Proven experience in mechanical pump and motor repairs, ideally within a service engineering or maintenance environment.

\n Electrical qualifications are highly desirable. \n Experience in the installation or servicing of pumps, heating systems, or water treatment equipment. \n Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and manuals.

\n Excellent communication and customer service skills. \n Full UK driving licence. \n Willingness to work flexibly, including out-of-hours rota work.
