They support a loyal customer base with installation, servicing and breakdown support for diesel generator sets and associated equipment.\nThey’re now looking for a Field Service Engineer to strengthen their powergen team and support continued growth in the region.\nThe Role\nWorking as a mobile engineer, you’ll service, maintain and repair diesel generator sets at customer sites. You’ll handle a mix of planned maintenance, project support and emergency breakdowns, acting as the main on-site contact for customers.\nYou’ll be based from home with a fully equipped service van, covering a regional patch and occasionally working out-of-hours as part of a call-out rota.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nService, repair and fault-find on diesel generator sets on customer sites.\nCarry out site surveys, assist with installations and support commissioning.\nWork on control panels, wiring and basic PLC/controller programming (e.g.
