Our client, a well-established and growing company within the engineering and technical services sector, has an exciting new opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis due to business growth covering Newport and the surrounding areas.

For this role, please note you MUST have a full UK manual driving licence and have experience either servicing, maintaining and repairing glass display doors.

The successful Service Engineer should have:

• Experience servicing and repairing refrigeration equipment, particularly display cases and cabinets
• Strong electrical fault-finding and repair skills
• Experience working on cold room systems and refrigeration units
• Good customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner
• Ability to work independently, with a proactive and reliable attitude

In this role, the Service Engineer will be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing front-of-house chilled and frozen display cabinets
• Carrying out cold room repairs and general refrigeration maintenance
• Conducting site surveys and diagnosing faults efficiently
• Communicating clearly with customers and providing excellent on-site service
• Ensuring all work is completed to company standards and health & safety regulations

Our client is offering the successful Service Engineer an hourly rate in the region of £35,000 plus benefits including holiday allowance, pension, ongoing training and development and you'll have your equipment fully provided for including company van.
