What you'll be doing:

  • To undertake the servicing and maintenance of crematory and ancillary equipment on client sites.
  • Carry out inspections, complete reports and submit appropriate recommendations’, as necessary.
  • Record and maintain existing servicing records in line with Company procedures.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and business standards/regulations are followed without exception.
  • Work in conjunction with departmental manager and team members to identify, implement and drive actions for continuous improvement.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation at all levels.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with team members, internal departments’, and customers in regard to work instructions and requirements.
  • Flexible approach to work duties/tasks in accordance with the requirements of the business.


What we’re looking for:

  • Mechanical Engineer with comprehensive electrical experience or Electrical Engineer with good mechanical experience. Apprentice trained NVQ level 3 as a minimum.
  • Experience of working within an engineering manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to problem solve effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively either alone or as part of a team with minimum or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
