JOB – Field Service Engineer
LOCATION – London
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £30,000 - £37,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client is a Manufacturer of a variety of products for the retail sector. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team based in the London area on a permanent basis.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
Roughly 5-10 years’ relevant experience in a Servicing role Understanding of Auto-Electrics and some mechanical skills Experience servicing small vehicles such as Dock Levellers, forklifts, Industrial Compactors or similar would be beneficial Experience with Hydraulics is needed for this role Great communication and customer service skills Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday Team player who is passionate about their work Happy to travel on a field basis approx. 80% of the time Holds a full UK driving licence
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
Repair and Maintenance of Mechanical/Retail equipment General maintenance Electro-Mechanical maintenance and repair Around 20% of work at the company base and 80% servicing Developing strong relationships with customers
