I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a Field Service Engineer to join their established and growing engineering team based at their UK facility in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of the site. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is looking for a varied, hands on role offering regular international travel, strong earning potential and the chance to work on highly specialised equipment within a technically advanced environment. This is a field based role with extensive travel across the UK and Europe. You will typically be working away from home Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, supporting customers on site. When not travelling, you will be based at the UK facility supporting testing, preparation and remote technical support. This role offers a great balance of hands on engineering, travel and downtime. This position would be particularly well suited to an ex-military engineer who is looking to move into a technically challenging role where no two jobs are the same. You will be working on specialist equipment involving both electrical and mechanical systems, with full training provided including high voltage and PLC training, allowing you to further develop your skillset.
